NEW JUSTICE ACCESS CENTRE OPENS IN NANAIMO
Dr. Ellen White, Snuneymuxw First Nation Elder, looks on as Attorney General Wally Oppal delivers his remarks at the official opening of the Nanaimo Justice Access Centre. The newly expanded pilot project allows individuals with legal disputes quick and affordable access to information and services. The project is funded through the Ministry of Attorney General, the Legal Services Society and grants from the Law Foundation.

VICTORIA – Starting Jan. 1, the public will no longer be required to pay to have access to up-to-date provincial statutes and regulations, Attorney General Wally Oppal and Labour and Citizens’ Services Minister Iain Black announced.

COMMUNITY CRIME PREVENTION GUIDE LAUNCHED
PRINCE GEORGE – A new crime prevention guide that will help communities develop public safety strategies has been released by Attorney General Wally Oppal and Solicitor General John van Dongen in conjunction with Crime Prevention Week.

Our goal is to seek innovative ways to better our justice services and give British Columbians access to a quality justice system that meets their needs.
