YALE, PROVINCE A MAJOR STEP CLOSER TO FINAL TREATY

AGREEMENTS BRING CLOSURE TO HISTORIC DISPUTES

VICTORIA – The Province, Canada and four First Nations have settled agreements that resolve the last of B.C.’s cut-off claims disputes and provide land and financial resources that will assist them in developing their local economies, Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation Minister Michael de Jong announced.
