On November 6, 2008, Minister Abbott officially opened the newly renovated Geriatric Outpatient Clinic at Royal Jubilee Hospital. Funded through the B.C. government's Health Innovation Fund, the $1.3-million, 7,000-square-foot clinic provides seniors with additional care options, allowing them to live healthier, more independent lives.
