PROVINCE PROVIDES $60K GRANT TO UNITED WAY
VICTORIA – The Province is providing a $60,000 grant to the United Way of the Fraser Valley (UWFV) to support housing initiatives for their Fraser Valley Housing Network (FVHN), Rich Coleman, Minister of Housing and Social Development, announced.

PARTNERSHIP TO SHELTER HOMELESS IN VANCOUVER
VANCOUVER – An unprecedented partnership between the Province, the City of Vancouver and the private sector will provide $1.5 million to create up to 200 temporary shelter beds in three locations for people who are homeless in Vancouver.

PARTNERS UNITE TO HELP HOMELESS IN SAANICH
SAANICH – Federal, provincial and community partners are providing $2.1 million for the purchase and renovation of Clover Place, to provide 18 units of supportive housing for people who are chronically homeless or at risk of homelessness.

$5.75M CAMPUS OF CARE OPENS FOR SURREY SENIORS
SURREY – Rosemary Heights Seniors Village officially opened today to provide a new campus of care with 90 residential care beds and 61 assisted living units, announced Health Services Minister George Abbott.

$830,000 CREATES NEW SHELTER FOR SURREY HOMELESS
SURREY – The Province is providing $830,000 for renovations and annual operational funding for a new 10-bed shelter for British Columbians who are homeless, announced Rich Coleman, Minister of Housing and Social Development.
