PROVINCE SUPPORTS NANAIMO MAPLE SUGAR FESTIVAL
February is a sweet time for Nanaimo residents and visitors when the annual Maple Sugar Festival du Sucre d’Érable launches into high gear to celebrate the cultures and traditions of eastern Canada.

A $70,000 contribution that supports improved access to health services in French for francophone British Columbians underlines the importance of the Canada-B.C. Co-operation Agreement on Official Languages.

TOUR OF ASIA PACIFIC FOUNDATION
The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada was created by an Act of Parliament in 1984 and is an independent, not-for profit think-tank bringing people together to share expertise and knowledge on Canada's relations with Asia.

LONG SERVICE AWARDS
25 years or more of service to an organization is something to celebrate and, since 1956, the Long Service Awards program has done just that. Every year, employees with 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service are honoured at a ceremony that recognizes their dedication and commitment to the Province of B.C.

2008 CIBC RUN FOR THE CURE IN VANCOUVER
Premier Gordon Campbell helps kick off the 2008 CIBC Run For The Cure in Vancouver on Sunday. The Premier also announced a new program to recognize volunteers across British Columbia.
