TORCH RELAY WILL BRING SPIRIT OF THE GAMES TO 266 B.C. COMMUNITIES
Premier Gordon Campbell was joined by representatives of VANOC and the Government of Canada today to unveil the route for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay, which will begin and end here in British Columbia.

VICTORIA – With the signing of an understanding by Yale First Nation Chief Robert Hope and chief negotiators from the Province, B.C. moved a step closer to having final agreements under the B.C. treaty process with seven First Nations, announced Premier Gordon Campbell.

VANCOUVER – The world’s largest, most advanced and most comprehensive facility devoted to spinal cord injury research and patient care was opened by Premier Gordon Campbell, Rick Hansen and members of the health care and spinal cord research community.

SPIRIT OF 2010
Premier Campbell joins local kids and Vancouver Canucks left-winger Alex Burrows to launch the Spirit of 2010 Hockey Tournament. The province-wide events are taking place during spring break 2009.
