September 29, 2008 – Ida Chong, Minister of Technology, Trade and Economic Development, addresses 750 people gathered to celebrate this year’s B.C. Innovation Council Awards in Vancouver. Chong congratulated the winners – some of B.C.’s top researchers and inventors in health, engineering and other fields – for their accomplishments, applauded B.C.’s regional science fair winners who also attended, and thanked the council for its work to accelerate the growth of B.C.’s economy through science and technology.
